'Extra pickles, please': 22 Chicken sandwich memes for foodies who take crispy chicken seriously

I defend my personal principles when I have to decide how I want my chicken sandwich. The chicken must be crispy, spicy, and have extra sauce and pickles. Who else is with me on this?

Fast-food menus offer clear options, and you have to be determined when deciding your order. Just as determined as I am when I order a chicken sandwich. I'll tell you my essentials. The coating needs to crunch loud enough for the people sitting next to me to hear it. The pickles need to be noticeable, not two transparent circles hiding somewhere in between the layers of the sandwich. Sauce is more than welcome, and it has to be spicy. Also, a good chicken sandwich should not fall apart before I reach the second bite. I hate when half of the sandwich ends up sitting in the wrapper. Oh, and I almost forgot the bun. The bun has to be soft enough to contrast with the crispiness of the chicken, but it has to keep the chicken inside, because if the bun is too big, then it is impossible to eat a sandwich neatly. I still love the crispy edges that escape from the bun. Well, at this point, I'm already getting hungry, and I couldn't even finish my description of my ideal chicken sandwich. Aaaand last but not least, the spice levels are where trust becomes important. "Spicy" to me is a pleasant amount of heat that doesn't involve drinking an entire beverage after every bite. You are allowed to judge me.
